Clarification Text on Personal Data Pocessing

Your personal data can be processed by Logismart Logistics LTD. STI. (“Logismart”) within the framework of Law No 6698 on Personal Data Processing (“Law”)

With this Clarification Text we have prepared as Logismart Data Supervisor, we would like to inform you as follows regarding the purposes your personal data will be processed, to whom and for which purposes it could be communicated, the way of personal data collection and its legal grounds as specified in “Data Supervisor’s Liability of Clarification” included in this Clarification Text and in Law and regarding your other rights specified in Article 11 of Law:

  1. The Purpose for Personal Data Processing

    Your personal data are processed in line with the conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of Law on Personal Data Processing.

    Collection and processing of your personal data in oral or written form or through the electronic environment cover, without limitation, protection of the legal and commercial security of Logismart or Logismart’s business partners, sustaining their commercial activities and managing human resources and recruitment policies.

    Any and all necessary technical and administrative measures are taken to prevent that your personal data are processed or accessed illegally and to ensure that your personal data are stored in a safe manner.

  2. The Method for Personal Data Collection

    Your personal data are collected, pursuant to the applicable legislation, by Logismart, our partners, Logismart Group Companies, Affiliates, solution partners we cooperate with or we are in contract relationship with, through survey forms, Websites, Logismart representatives and through other similar channels in written or oral form or through the electronic environment and these are processed pursuant to the conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of Law for various administrative and legal reasons.

  3. Personal Data Sharing

    Your personal data can be communicated to Logismart’s shareholders, business partners, suppliers, external service providers and legally authorized public institutions and organizations pursuant to the the conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of Law.

    The purposes for the sharing of your personal data include, without limitation, protection of the legal and commercial security of Logismart or Logismart’s business partners, sustaining their commercial activities and managing human resources and recruitment policies.

    Necessary safety measures are taken if your personal data are shared.

  4. Measures Relating to Personal Data Protection

    Logismart takes necessary measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal data, or loss, misuse, disclosure, falsification or destruction of such data. Logismart undertakes to keep your personal data confidential and to strictly take any and all necessary technical and administrative in order to ensure their confidentiality and protection. If personal data are damaged or fall into the hands of third parties as a result of the intrusions to the Website or to the systems despite the fact that Logismart has taken all necessary measures for the safety of data, Logismart will immediately inform you and the Board of Personal Data Protection about the situation.

  5. Other Regulations Specified in Article 11 of the Law

    You can apply to Logismart and;

    1. Learn whether your personal data have been processed,
    2. If yes, you can ask for information about that,
    3. Learn about the purpose of processing and whether your personal data have been used pursuant to such purpose,
    4. Know the thirds parties inland and abroad, to whom your personal data have been communicated,
    5. Ask for the correction of your personal data if they have been processed in an incomplete or inaccurate manner,
    6. Ask for deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions specified in Article 7 of Law,
    7. Ask that third parties to whom your personal data have been communicated, are informed about the transactions performed pursuant to the relevant articles of the relevant Law,
    8. Object any situation that will arise to your detriment as a result of the exclusive analysis of the processed data through automated systems,
    9. Ask for the recovery of your loss that will arise due to the illegal processing of your personal data.

    You can apply to Logismart in writing to use your above-stated rights and send your relevant application to the address below. If new methods of application are specified by the Board of Personal Data Protection, these methods will be announced by Logismart.

    Applications you will make within this scope, will be concluded in the shortest time and in 30 days at latest. These applications are free of charge for now. On the other hand, if the Board of Personal Data Protection defines a price tariff, a fee can be charged accordingly.

  6. Contact Information

    You can contact us anytime to use your rights specified in Article 11 of Law. You need to state your identification and contact information in a complete and clear manner and apply to our company using one of the below-stated channels so that we can respond to your requests.
